Hello, my name is Savelyeva Serafima! I am an owner of an opportunity shop "Inspire". I would like to introduce my charity program
Day by day people destroy ecosystem. That's why we have taken a group of a worthwhile volunteers and organized a charity shop "Inspire". My shop was sponsored by a non-profit charity organization Vita. Their aim is to protect animals against cruelty through peaceful means. Vita works in a number of way to protect and improve the lives of animals. One of its major roles in society is to try to make people aware of the plight of suffering animals. The new way of grabbing an attention of the government and people is using the charity shops. A charity shop is a retail establishment run by a charitable organization to raise money. Charity shops are a type of social enterprise. In our shops we are trying to raise public awareness to the global problems, like deforestation, bad education to orphans, stray animals. And we support charity festivals.
Every day, my workers sell more than 1000 items of second-hand clothes. 50% of all sales are donated to the world protecting organizations. Once a week we show social videos where the subscribers will see that city is unfriendly place. If we do not do these mini-films, people will never understand how it might feel for the elderly or the homeless-people who are often marginalized by the rest of society.
Next year our shop will have been opening for a 1 year, so we are going to organize a "Day of charity" There will be food stands, performers, dance halls and 20 unique areas, each with their special attractions.This day will be famous for promoting green issues and freedom of expressions, principles which we have never left behind.
Also, we have a TV program, where different people who have been in terrifying hazards or have done something good for our planet tell us about the experiences. Edd Stafford was the first visitor of our TV-show. He became the first man in history to walk the entire length of the Amazon River.
I think that my charity program is one of the best ideas that has been implemented in the last 10 years. I hop that the popularity of my shop will increase daily. And we will "inspire people to love the earth". Thank you
